Day 9 – Wednesday 20th December 2017

Sam arrived early today to have our motorhome radiator installed a little earlier.

By 0930 the fitting was completed and just some paperwork was still to be completed.  Almost $2500 later we were able to drive to the Dump point to again empty the on board tanks.

After this we topped up the fuel – 55litres LPG at 85.9 c/litre and by midday we were well on our way to the Murtoa Black tank Dump Point.  We had put about 20 litres of water in both the black and grey tanks to give them a good rinse – having been filled so much on our time disabled at the mechanical workshop.

By 1pm we were on our way to St Arnaud where we arrived at 1350 – just in time to order lunch at the Hotel.

Then, after lunch and a rest, at 1530 we again were travelling, this time to Eaglehawk, Bendigo where Jacqueline was to do some washing whilst I had some rest so I could continue to drive through the night to make up some time.

Whilst in Bendigo we again topped up the LPG – 77litres at 85.9 c/litre before leaving the area at about 1938 and arriving at Murchison East Rest Area at 2116 where we could stay for some hours.
